This is a 3D printed sculpt of the German Type VIIC submarine by GamingStar.
Type VII submarines were the most widely used U-boats of the war and were the most produced submarine class in history, with 703 built. The Type VII was the most numerous U-boat type to be involved in the Battle of the Atlantic.
The Type VIIC version entered service in 1940 and was the predominant type built throughout the war. The Type VIIC had 4 torpedo tubes forward and 1 rear. It was slightly larger and heavier than the B version but speed and range were essentially the same. Its range was 8500 nautical miles which limited the time it could stay in the target rich western and southern Atlantic without refueling at sea.
