Have you ever seen the aircraft carrier game piece from the Axis & Allies 1941 game? We don't know which historical ship this was modeled after. HBG refers to it as the Soviet Kostromitinova but we couldn't get any relevant hits searching the internet. It may just be a generic carrier sculpt, and that is how we are treating it. We are making this carrier available to all countries, and this is the Soviet version with a flight deck made to look similar to the standard Soviet carrier. We are calling it the Kostromitinova as well.We like this carrier platform because it has is a much wider deck than other A&A out of the box carrier sculpts, and that makes it easier to stack aircraft on top of it. Do you have thick fingers that get in the way when you try to manipulate planes and ships? Is your hand a bit shaky? Well try this carrier out as an alternative to what you have now.
Included are two small neodymium rare earth magnets to hold two aircraft.
