Royal Air Force Type A (1914-42) Summary
The British copied the French Air Service practice of painting a national cockade in the form of a roundel on aircraft, but reversed the colors.
From 1939-42, the roundel was painted on the fuselage of aircraft, until superseded by the next two roundels, but would still be used on the underside of aircraft until 1942.Use for Axis & Allies scale aircraft and other 1/500, 1/600 & 1/700 scale aircraft.
Waterslide decal sheet printed on clear film. Images are printed on high-quality thin film (8-10 µm) blue waterslide decal paper at 2400x2400 resolution. Images must be individually cut off the sheet and placed in water for several seconds to release the film from the paper backing.
