RN Swordfish Summary
The Fairey Swordfish is a biplane torpedo bomber originating in the early 1930s. The Swordfish was operated by the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy, and the Royal Air Force.
Despite being obsolete by the start of WW2, the Swordfish achieved some spectacular successes during the war including the Battle of Taranto, and the Bismarck. By the end of the war, the Swordfish held the distinction of having sunk a greater tonnage of Axis shipping than any other Allied aircraft. The Swordfish remained in front-line service until V-E Day, having outlived multiple aircraft that had been intended to replace it in service.

The HBG biplane sculpt is well sized for carriers, magnets work great and the little details done with decals really set pieces these apart. These little guys pack a punch as tactical bombers in my games and keep the italian fleet on high alert. I bought two (can't have just one!) as well as the decal kit for my own DIY."
