Kaga Aircraft Carrier Summary
This is a 3D printed sculpt of the Kaga aircraft carrier by EBard Models.The Kaga was the second IJN fleet aircraft carrier. Along with the Akagi fleet carrier, it formed the 1st Carrier Division and was an integral part of the "Kido Butai", the tactical designation for the Combined Fleet's 6 largest carriers. The Kido Butai carried the 1st Air Fleet consisting of 414 aircraft and changed how air power was projected in WW2. It was the 1st Air Fleet that attacked Pearl Harbor.
The Kaga aircraft carrier can be used to provide a more realistic diversity of Japanese fleet carriers.
The Kaga comes with a unique, historically accurate wooden flight deck decal. The flight deck for the Pearl Harbor mission did not include a hinomaru. The hinomaru was later added to the deck and is the look that was present at the battle of Midway.
Each carrier has two strong neodymium rare earth magnets to hold two aircraft. Purchase a loaded carrier with matching magnetized aircraft and never have your airwing fall off a carrier again!
Default magnetic polarity is as shown.
Optionally include an assembled magnetic damage marker.
