IJA Ki-51 Sonia Summary
The Mitsubishi Ki-51 "Sonia" was an Imperial Japanese Army light bomber/dive bomber used throughout the war. It first flew in mid-1939 and was initially deployed against Chinese forces and was able to operate from airfields too rough for many other aircraft. Later in the war the Sonia was used in kamikaze attacks. Total production was around 2,385 units.Add the Ki-51 Sonia to your game to provide a bomber upgrade path.
