Hiraga Battlecruiser Summary
This piece is the raw, 3D printed sculpt in gray resin. It is unfinished and unpainted.
A note from EBard Models: The "Hiraga" is a 1928 design for a Kongo class battlecruiser replacement. This is a real design, though it never got beyond the drawing board due to the 1930 London treaty which extended the battleship building holiday. The designer's name was "Hiraga" and I thought I'd call it that in his honor, even though that breaks with IJN naming convention. In order to fit within the treat limits they squished everything as close together as possible in order to shorten the citadel and armor belt length, hence the odd design.

"Another welldone model by EBard. His attention to detail and historical accuracy is pretty spot on his miniature models. Another great ship to add to anyone's Japanese collection."
