GE FW-190 Summary
The Focke-Wulf FW-190 is regarded as one of the best fighters of WW2. It was a vast improvement over the existing Me-109 versions and was employed in fighter, fighter-bomber, and ground-attack roles. It was first deployed in Western Europe and was ultimately used on all fronts. When first engaged, British pilots found it very difficult to deal with. The Luftwaffe enjoyed a 4-1 kill ratio and got some payback for the Battle of Britain thus keeping England at bay while the Wehrmacht focused on Operation Barbarossa. Only later would the FW-190 be deployed to the Eastern front and it gave Soviet pilots the same surprise as the Allies got.
Add the FW-190 to your game for added realism or as an equipment upgrade path for the Me-109.

In our games, we differentiate between land-based aircraft from naval aircraft. Only the naval version can operate on carriers. The naval versions take 1 more turn to produce (to account for specialized training) but otherwise retains all the cost and combat values of the land-based equivalent. We designate the early war camouflage scheme as the naval version and late war camouflage scheme as the land-based as the land based version.
Each plane contains one small neodymium rare earth magnet so they stick to metal flight stands and all of our aircraft carriers.
