This is a 3D printed sculpt of the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier by EBard Models.
The Enterprise was the second ship of the storied Yorktown class and was the most decorated US navy ship of WW2. The Enterprise saw heavy action throughout the war. She participated in most of the major naval engagements, including the Doolittle Raid, and was one of only 3 US pre-war carriers to survive the war.
Of the engagements she was involved in, 15 carriers were sunk and 4 heavily damaged on both sides, yet she emerged with only light damage. It was not until the Okinawa campaign that she suffered heavier damage - incurring light damage due to a kamikaze strike in April 1945 and later in the same campaign heavy damage as she was again struck by a kamikaze attack - and had to leave the theater to get repairs at the Puget Sound Navy Yard, where she was leaving ready for combat when the Japanese surrendered. Choose between historically accurate flight deck decal patterns:
Each carrier comes with two strong neodymium rare earth magnets to hold two aircraft. Never have your airwing fall off a carrier again! Purchase a loaded carrier and get a discount on magnetized aircraft.
Default magnetic polarity is as shown.
The optional assembled damage marker by Combat Miniatures makes a great game addition.
Approximate dimensions (LWD): 64mm x 9mm x 9mm
