-------- OR --------

These are the latest developments from the labs here. Many new pieces have created as part of fulfillment of my extensive backlog. Most of the items on this page are now finished with the exception of some aircraft. There are also several new pieces I'm working on that have not been added to this list.

The EBard Models brand name is being changed to GamingStar, along with new innovations and pieces. All battleships and battlecruisers are magnetized to hold damage markers. An internal change is being worked on for the carriers to make them less expensive to print and magnetize. And finally, whenever I can get around to it, many more 3D printed & magnetized aircraft. The goal is to have the famous planes from all countries available. Specifically, a wide variety of aircraft (mostly fighters, ground attack and twin engine light bombers) will be avialable for the British, German, Russian and US forces.

Coming soon. The most elegant damage marker solution is here. Finally!

Introducing the GamingStar line up of battleship with magnetized damage markers. Never mess with tokens or turning your ship on it's side to represent hits. Below is the super battleship Montana. It supports 2 damage markers on the fore and aft turrents. Since these are fully magnetized, the markers don't fall off when you move the ship around.

Regular battleships and battlecruisers have one magnetized turret. Battlecruisers did not carry the large caliber guns or have the same armor protection as regular battleships and many consider their designs more akin to super cruisers than light battleships. The damage mount point allows you to treat them as two-hit cruisers.

Addtional Countries

Adding Commonwealth and Canadian pieces by repurposing several UK ships with new colors and unique hull camouflage patterns. These are available now. Email for more details.

Decals

I'll be adding a section devoted to flight decks that has several more options than currently available. Ghukek deck decals are progressing nicely for 1/1200, 1/1800, 1/2400 and 1/3600 sculpts and will be in the found in the flight deck category. Many are already completed and will soon be offered. Some battleship and carrier deck decals are available now. Please inquire by email for more information.

HBG carrier flight decks. These are available now for the HBG 3D printed carriers products.

A note: My versions of EBard ships are better than those offered on EBard's Shapeways store. While they may appear to be identical, my versions all have solid hulls to make them more robust and resistent to breakage. In addition, my freeboard height is greater giving the sculpt greater strength. This makes them more expensive and thus these versions are not available on Shapeways. You can only find them here. As an added bonus, my versions are frequently revised editions with more details too.

Future product lines

New metal flight stands are in the works. My current souce for stands is no longer available. I am in the process now of switching to a new factory and will be offering multiple height sizes.

Cold war and Modern ships to augment the HBG 2025 game.  I offer decks a clean deck, faded deck and weathered deck. Check them out on the Flight Deck Decals page. They look great.

I'm currently investigating adding decals for the Shapweays shop Amatuer Wargame Figures which has various scales of ships including a host of modern vessels. Stay tuned for more details.

I'm also investigating the 1/2400 & 1/1800 scales ships from Ghukek's Miniatures. I'm working on several prototype ships. These are larger canvases to work with and require lots of attention to detail. The Iowa has over 40 decals, which all take time to perfect.

These are large ships as you can see but immensely satisfying to hold and look at. I hope they are well received because I'm excited about building them.

Here you can see the larger scale in comparison to the A&A scale Montana.

The top is the Akagi in the 1/1800 scale and the bottom is in the 1/2400 scale.
