They are designed to be handled for game play. They have a higher freeboard than other 3D print sculpts (making them thicker and much more resistant to breakage. Masts are thicker, guns and other superstructure are reinforced, all to resist breakage, and done without altering the sillhoutte or profile of the piece. These are delicate plastic pieces and they can be broken for sure, however, other 3D print sculpts do not take handling into account. They may produce great detail, but is it worth purchasing if that detail won't survive game-time usage? We break pieces all the time in just routine handling during painting, so we know. These are raw, unfinished, unpainted pieces and come in gray resin. Fleet aircraft carriers come with 2 magnets installed and the drill holes capped with putty ready for painting. The Midway sculpt is designed to hold 3 aircraft and comes with 3 magnets. Light carriers and escort carriers come with 1 magnet.  Planes can be ordered magnetized.
